Technical platform

Linux and open source is the foundation in both our development and production environment. We build our applications in Java, based on EJB3 technique. As application and database servers we use JBoss and Postgres.

Besides extensive server side applications, we also develop web based user interfaces as well as Java Webstart enabled Swing client-server applications.

System development with Scrum

We are running our development projects using the well established and wide spread Scrum method. This gives us very good control and follow up of our development activities and an efficient spread of knowledge between our developers.

Development environment

For tools, we use Linux based workstations with Eclipse and Visual Paradigm. Besides the individual development environment, we have a central development, test and staging environment. All this together with frameworks for unit, integration and regression tests, forms the corner stones in the quality assurance of the services we deploy in production.

Maintenance

Maintenance of the software and services we supply is assured with thoroughly worked out routines and follows procedures with support and surveillance, issue ticketing, test procedures etc. We also use a very strict version and release management which is a prerequisite for good control.

Production environment

We support and host all systems and services we develop. A small but well equipped server room containing alarm, climate control, temperature supervisory, UPS and duplicated Internet connections with a capacity of up to 100 Mbps, gives our customers the security required for mission critical business applications.
